Fire Team Quailes Travels To Oahu, HI And Meet Nana & Pop Pop

THE TRIP: This year we decided not to go back to MD and take a real vacation. So it was decided to go to HI. It just so happens that Nana
and Pop  Pop have always wanted to go to HI. So it was set we would all go to HI and have a great time. So enjoy the pictures of our vacation

information if you are interested. I know you may think that you are looking at the same picture twice in some of the sections below and some
pictures may seem out of order. This is because I have pictures from my camera as well as Nana's high speed camera.

The Hotel: The Hale Koa is a military resort hotel is Waikiki, HI on the Island of Oahu. It is a beautiful hotel and everyone is very helpful and nice.

THE BEACH: We tried to explain to Riley that once we landed that we were in HI but she couldn't grasp the concept. It wasn't until we went to the
beach that we were finally in HI. Kids minds work in strange ways. Anyway keep your eye on these pics because I have a feeling we will be at the
beach (Hawaii) a lot!

THE ZOO: There is nothing spectacular about the zoo but kids love animals.

DOLE PLANTATION: If there is one thing that ALL of Fire Team Quailes loves it is pineapple!

THE USS ARIZONA: This ship suffered more than half of the American lives lost on Dec 7, 1941. This memorial was erected to honor and remember
those who lost their lives that day. Once hit it only took 9 mins for the ship to burn and sink to the bottom of the ocean. The ship and its crew still rest in
the same position today.

THE LU'AU: This was our first lu'au and we didn't get a lot of pictures because most of it was during the darker hours of the evening.
